Ashley Associates Ltd. (7-8-1 Minami Aoyama, Minato ku, Tokyo; President James Ashley) and ONEWORLD KK (3-3-2 Higashi Azabu, Minato ku, Tokyo; President Karl Hahne) are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement to merge their business interests with immediate effect. The resulting company will trade under the name of Ashley Associates Ltd. ONEWORLD has relocated to AA's Minami Aoyama premises.

Management and staff of ONEWORLD will be integrated into AA's existing structures. Karl Hahne, has been appointed to the board of Ashley Associates and assumes the title of Vice President – Sales and Marketing.

Karl Hahne commented “We are very excited by this development. This merger will allow us to make the leap to the next level in terms of business process and corporate structure. Moreover, the advanced technology that Ashley Associates brings to the table will give us the ability to provide an expanded array of enterprise class solutions to our clients.”

ONEWORLD serves a very different client base to our own and extends our marketing reach. In addition, Karl and his team bring us knowhow and resources for managing multilingual projects drawing on over a decade of valuable experience. Finally, ONEWORLD's activities in the area of corporate social responsibility, including their sponsorship of the biannual Japanese tour by the International Theatre Company London, complement our own initiatives in the areas of compliance and disclosure.”
